The Mission Advancement staff is happy to assist with the event planning by providing class lists and sharing the details on this St. Croix web site and social networking sites.
We are happy to help you plan your reunion by:
- Printing mailing labels for you
- Prior to your event, we will advertise the event in the school’s newsletter and on the website
- Following your event, we will publish your pictures and a recap summary in the school’s newsletter and website (written by any of your classmates who attended)

Class of 1983 Enjoys Homecoming 2011
Class of 1986 Reunion
The class of 1986 held their 25th class reunion on August 13th, 2011. Thirteen members of the class attended the reunion which was held at Cowboy Jacks in Bloomington, MN. Classmates along with many spouses enjoyed some great activities that sent all of us back to the 80's. It was great to catch up with everyone and hear how their lives have changed over the last 25 years. Later in the evening we were joined by other alumni from the class of '85 and '87.

Class of 2000 Reunion
The class of 2000 held their ten year class reunion on October 9, 2010, at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill. A total of 22 alumni attended along with five spouses. Everyone enjoyed catching up and reminiscing old high school memories, and many people showed off pictures of their kids and pets.

Together Dominique, Brandolyn (Luedtke) Bordthauser, Andrea Smith, and Jessica (Lee) Burtman helped put the reunion together and have decided to do another one in five years where our kids will be welcome to join in the fun. |
60’s Reunion – Classes from 1962 – 1969
August 7, 2010 at St. Croix LHS
One hundred guests attended the Saturday evening ‘60’s Reunion. Good visiting, fond remembrances and catching up on the past 40 years began immediately over appetizers and drinks. Sixty alumni, 3 former faculty, and 37 spouses enjoyed the dinner party and friends.

Current President Gene Pfeifer greeted many of the alumni and welcomed the dinner group with a number of comparisons and contrasts THEN (‘60’s) and NOW (2010). Tuition, faculty, staff and student body numbers have all increased and changed. The sizeable facilities, International Program and new Middle School were not even part of the thought processes 50 years ago when the ground work was conceived for a new Lutheran High School. Sources of support have shifted greatly over the past 50 years, but St. Croix’s mission remains the same – equipping and educating teens today with the truths of God’s Word…”Soul, Mind, and Body”.

The dinner prayer was led by Wilt (Lynn) Feider. A delicious champagne chicken dinner was polished off with a variety of cheesecakes. A dozen door prizes were handed out throughout the evening. A slide show of old and new St. Croix pictures ran in the background most of the evening. 1960’s music also played in the background, but visiting took precedence.

Many years were bridged throughout the evening and old friendships were renewed. Thank you to all who helped with the two years of planning. Thank you to all who helped make it a successful event, and thank you to all 100 of you who made the effort and took the time to attend!

Class of 1970
On August 15, 2010, the Class of 1970 held our 40-year class reunion, the first since a 20-year reunion in 1990. We had a backyard picnic lunch catered by Green Mill at the home of Steve and Christine (Pieper) Overholser, with the help of 4 classmates, Craig Rocheleau, Gwen (Heldt) Bickley, Cindy (Olsen) Groth and Scott Aker. It was an absolutely beautiful summer day. There was a total of 16 classmates, 11 guests including Mr. Jack Oldfield. Out of the guests, 6 had also attended SCLHS. We only wish that more of our classmates would have been able to attend. Carol (Schneider) Corker came all the way from Seattle, WA, via returning from a trip to Africa.
All in attendance were: Scott and Carol Aker, Gwen (Heldt) Bickley and Bill Heldt, Glenn and Cindy (Olsen) Groth, Ralph and Carol (Braun) Heussner, George and Jackie (Miner) Malloy, Barb (Langfield) McGlennen, Mr. Jack Oldfield, Steve and Christine (Pieper) Overholser, Paul and Cheryl (Lindquist) Palmer, Craig and Marcia Rocheleau, Carol (Schneider) Corker, Rev. Robert Schultz, Jerry and Annette (Groth) Sell, Fritz and Debbie (Danner) Stuneck, Scott Uecker, Carl and Kathy Vrieze.
We had a fun time reminiscing about our high school days and reconnecting with each other. Pastor Robert Schultz said grace and delivered a short prayer in memory of the 5 classmates who have gone to Heaven; Thomas Wenthe, Dale Christopherson, Douglas Priebe,Sandra (Johnson) Wimmer and Sarah (Schroeder) Fillner.
Everyone agreed the afternoon was a huge success and look forward to a possible 45-year reunion, God willing.
